400mm 16 inch Top Mount Swimming Pool Sand Filter
This is the P400 from Emaux. Part of the ever-popular “P” range this 400mm swimming pool filter is known for its reliability and durability. This makes it a great economical option for above and below ground domestic pools.
This 400mm pool filter is made from a UV-resistant polyethylene meaning it can operate outside for years without any problems. It also has a max operating pressure of 2.0 bar (28 psi) and a maximum temperature of 40°C. This means it can be used with heating and could even be used on a hot tub if required.
Its top-mount design allows you to save precious space in your pump room and the universal union will fit both 50mm and 1.5-inch pipework making installation easy. This 16 inch swimming pool filter also features a six-position multiport valve and ABS laterals.
A filter of this size will need around 35kg of sand. However, we recommend using recycled glass filter media (RGFM) to get a crystal clear pool. By using the RGFM you could also save yourself some money in the long run as you use around 15% less media and it has a longer lifespan than traditional sand.
