775mm 31 inch Heavy Duty Side Mount Swimming Pool Filter

The MFS31A is a 775mm heavy duty pool filter from Emaux’s MFS Max series range. The Max range of swimming pool filters is made from a single blown piece of HDPE. The HDPE material is known for being rugged and reliable. The UV resistant plastic can be used in the sun for years if required.

Thanks to the innovate design of the Max range the MFS31A has a maximum operating pressure of 2.8 bar (40 psi) and a maximum temperature of 50°C. Together it means this filter is ideally suited for use with spa pools or swimming pools that require heating.

Side Mount Design

This 31 inch heavy duty pool filter has a easy to use side mount design. The side mount valve allows for simple maintenance of the system while the pressure gauge is on top of the lid for easy inspection The 6-way multiport valve is made from sturdy ABS and marine-grade stainless steel which means the filter is non-reactive. Therefore it can be used with alternative disinfection systems such as salt or UV chlorination.

The MFS31A will need around 320kg of sand. However, we recommend using recycled glass filter media (RGFM) to get a crystal clear pool. By using the RGFM you could also save yourself some money in the long run as you use around 15% less media and it has a longer lifespan than traditional sand. The recommended size of media for this pool filter is 0.5-0.8mm.
